What’s included? Our fees include all workshop materials, equipment and expert tuition and this obviously varies with the type of session. Something bubbly or sweet can be arranged too, if required (this is optional and may incur an additional cost, depending on the group size). We will set up and tidy away all the materials and equipment so all you need to think about is enjoying the party.
Costs: We will work with you and your group to create a fun and memorable activity for you and your ladies. The cost of this will, of course, vary depending on what is wanted/needed and the number of participants, budget etc. Just get in touch with your ideas and a rough idea of numbers and budget and we’ll see what we can do. Each craft session usually lasts around 2 hours and the minimum group is usually 8 people (although all this is negotiable).
Venue: We will come to you in the home/hotel/guesthouse that the group are staying in or a venue can be arranged if needed (this may lead to an additional cost but we’ll do what we can to avoid this). There may be some extra travel costs depending on where your hen party is happening but this will all will be discussed and agreed on in advance.
We can provide fold up tables, refreshments, decorations etc if needed. Just let us know how we can help.
How to make a booking:
To make a booking, send us an email or call for a chat on 0871302307. It is much easier if you have an idea about dates, group numbers and the type of party you want but we can work with you to iron out the details.
We will let you know about our availability, costs and suggestions.
When you decide to book we need a non-refundable deposit of €100. This can be paid on the website, bank transfer or posted to us. We take your deposit amount from the final balance due. We do however have a minimum charge for 8 people. A booking confirmation will be sent with all the details once this is paid.
Following this, your tutor will be in touch to discuss any special themes or requirements for your craft party, like colour schemes, vintage themes for example. Final confirmed numbers of people that are coming to the workshop and the balance of payment are due 3 weeks before the session. This is so that everything can be made ready for your customised hen party. It’s all in the detail! (Of course, if you have less time to play with let us know and something can be arranged). PLEASE NOTE: Handcrafted Hens acts as a booking agent for the activity tutors and once the booking is made, discussion will be with the tutor and hen party arranger. Final payment will be made to your tutor directly as well as working out the specific detail for your hen party.
Cancellations: If for any reason your tutor has to cancel your session, one of our other creative people will take over on the day. This may mean that the activity may be different but still great fun. If you are unhappy with this, we will offer a full refund of course.
Once the €100 deposit is paid, your activity is confirmed and this is non-refundable. The final balance is due 3 weeks before the date so if you cancel before this date, there is no extra cost. If you have to cancel after the 3 week deadline, there is no refund as materials have been bought and things arranged etc however we will take exceptional circumstances into account.
